The primary building at Dar Tafouyte is divided into two sections: the communal areas and the private hotel rooms. Accessible to all our guests, the common spaces encompass the restaurant and leisure area, as well as a terrace offering panoramic views of the dunes.
For your personal retreat and to recharge after desert exploration, we provide eight fully equipped rooms, each featuring air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. Additionally, Dar Tafouyte offers three separate apartments, each comprising two well-appointed rooms (also equipped with air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms), a cozy living room with a fireplace, and a private terrace overlooking Merzouga village and the Sahara Dunes.
Erg Chebbi Dunes
The towering dunes of Erg Chebbi, with their unique reddish-orange hues, are a sight to behold. These dunes, the largest in Southern Morocco, cover a 30km-wide circle and are famous for their special energy and the renowned “Bains de sable” – the sand baths.
